TOUCH PODCAST | EPISODE LIBRARY

  • If season three takes the purity conversation from audio to video by expanding its content from podcast to Youtube, TOUCH PODCAST SEASON FOUR takes yet another expansive step, from video to live-event — a purity culture story slam.

Our Youtube series PURITY Evangelical Americas Legacy of Shame is noticed by Original Productions, and a development deal is made for a potential documentary series. Ryan and Nathan are excited about this of course, and speak of this while visiting with authors and experts in step with current events along the line where spirit meets body. Meanwhile, Ryan is selected as a storyteller for a purity culture story slam event produced by EMBODIED, a public radio show in North Carolina.

  • Touch Podcast Season Three has only two podcast episodes with new Guest Host Jennifer Knapp. The rest of the season expands from audio to video; translated into a 3-month Youtube video campaign PURITY, Evangelical America’s Legacy of Shame which features sexologist Dr. Tina Schermer-Sellers, author Linda Kay Kline, and former Gospel Star Jennifer Knapp . See SPOTLIGHT: PURITY CULTURE.

  • TOUCH PODCAST SEASON TWO adjusts to its mostly female audience by inviting guest host Shannon Ethridge (A Sexually Confident Wife, Every Woman’s Battle), a conservative author passionate to share the sex conversation with progressive men . Later in this season, Touch Podcast joins the Alliance of Baptists for the first ever JUST SEX CONFERENCE on Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN in 2018. Many of the speakers featured at the conference are guests for season 2 to expand the conversation of purity.

  • TOUCH PODCAST SEASON ONE begins with Ryan and Nathan reconnecting after 20 years to examine their common sexual wound — purity culture. Their interviews start with experts, authors, theologians, and scholars in their immediate circle. Their pool of podcast guests expand outward beyond conventional Christianity into the unknown to construct a more complete conversation around sexuality. Despite being men, Touch Podcast hosts Ryan and Nathan consider the feminine perspective when revisiting purity culture.
